Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

I. Strategic thinker to design department goal with organization goal.

II. To lead a department of control & monitoring.

III. To prepare MIS and analytic report along with variance to support the decision of organization.

IV. To liaison with statutory Auditors-Big 4 Consulting firm, Internal auditors and other consultants.

V. To have good knowledge of Ind. AS.

VI. To lead monthly closure, quarterly closure, yearly closure as part of limited review and statutory audit activity.

VII. To prepare variance report on monthly basis Vs AOP/Initiatives designed in planning documents.

VIII. To coordinate with other departments like production improve productivity and analytics.

IX. To track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement

X. To prepare financial statements viz, P&L account, balance sheet and annual reports

XI. Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff

XII. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans

XIII. Develop trends and projections for the company financials in order to assist with decision making

XIV. Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports

XV. Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities

XVI. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

XVII. Assist in preparation of the company's annual budget and monthly forecasts.

XVIII. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

XIX. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken

XX. Perform all other related duties as assigned

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5-8 years of experience as CA in a Manufacturing set-up.

- Pharma background added advantage.

- Proficient with use of the Internet, MS outlook, MS office - including word, excel and power point

- Project management & data interpretation skills.

- Knowledge of IFC Implementation & 2nd AS Conversion.

- Ability to make & deliver process training sessions
